Story of The Three Monkeys

The Three Monkeys are a symbol from a Japanese Folk Faith called Kōshin. This faith is derived from Taoist Origins, influenced by Shinto, Buddhism and other local beliefs. The Three Monkeys are a symbol used in these Faiths, categorised as ‘The Three Wise Monkeys’, respectfully named Mizaru, covering his eyes, Kikazaru, covering his ears and Iwazaru, covering his mouth. Often you will hear the saying, “The Star which guides people and which sees no evil, hears no evil and speaks no evil”, a philosophy that only intends to spread wellness and positivity along the pathway that is life.
